NamelessFaceless Posted June 18, 2018 Report Share Posted June 18, 2018 About 4 years ago I worked myself thru the c25k app and started doing 3-4 miles 2-3 times a week. I was in a good spot. Without going too far into detail, life took a weird left turn and I hit a brick wall and gave up on myself. In that time I have added 35 pounds to my weight, I've been less mobile, more sedentary, and as a result much less positive about myself. I've come back here because this is both an app and a forum that pushed me in the right direction and I would like to get there again. I am tired of being down on myself, tired of looking at myself in the mirror and feeling completely disgusted. I am in the throes of mid-life crisis and have realized that if I don't shake it nothing will so I guess day zero starts now. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Starting over Posted July 3, 2018 Report Share Posted July 3, 2018 I’m in a similar situation. A few years ago I lost 45 lbs. I felt great and was doing some running. Not as much as you though. I had a few months of health problems and have not gotten back to that same level of fitness. I gained 20 lbs back. I really need to loose the weight and start running. We can do this!
