Guest Dawn
I need some advice. I started c25k and admit that I didn't skip days just ran each day, I was enjoying it. I started this to lose weight I have 100lbs to lose. I got to week 4 and took a 4 day break, I went on vacay. Now back I could not do it. I've gone back and done the last day of week 3 twice now and I can feel I still can't move on. What should I do?
Guest Kate
Go back! Either keep doing week three, or start again at week 2. Pushing yourself to go forward will only force you to burn out. I've done c25k, c210k and now I'm on the half marathon one. Normally if I can't go forward, I go back three or more sessions and take advantage of rest days. If you want to do something everyday, cross train on your days off by trying yoga or cycling. Runnersworld website has some great yoga for runners videos that you can do at home. Building muscle and stretching will help you lose weight (and also help you prevent injury, which is just as important-you can't train if your back falls to bits!!). Good luck!
