Perkie
Hi everyone! Today I loaded the program and will start my training tomorrow. I am signed up to run a fun 5k with some friends in June. I am not now, nor have I ever been a runner. I had major back surgery 1 year ago and am trying to lose some extra weight I packed on when I couldn't do much and also increase my cardiovascular capacity. I'm excited to begin my journey and look forward to reading your posts MarineMom and pacomoon

MarineMom
Very similar here. Had my neck fused several years ago but since then have developed 8 bulging disks (2 cervical, 4 thoracic and 2 lumbar). Just had a lumbar epidural yesterday and plan to start the program tomorrow. Need to drop about 15 pounds and want to increase my endurance and cardiovascular and joint health. Almost 52 years old and can't imagine what 60 or 70 will feel like if I don't get moving. Best of luck to you! Perkie
Perkie
MarineMom I'm with you, I had a lumbar fusion in 2016. Just finished day 1 of C25K without a problem. Looking forward to get better as time goes by! Good luck and you'll crush this!
