Jason Tan
Hello everyone! Jason here. I'm turning 31 this month and I've decided to live healthier... again. This isn't my first time running or working out, but I seem to lack the discipline to be consistent. I downloaded 3 of the Zenlabs apps so I have something to follow every week. Right now I'm working on raising my push up count (100 Push ups Challenge App), start doing squats (200 squats Challenge App. My girlfriend and all my friends and co-workers and family, basically everyone who knows me tells me I have chicken legs, and I agree), and run on a regular basis (C25K). I feel like this is really what I need, but my problem now is how I'm going to spread these throughout the week. I probably shouldn't do squats on days that I run, or is that okay? I'm also doing ab exercises 4 times a week (M, T, Th, S) so that's 4 exercises I need to spread out. As you can see, I virtually have no idea what I'm doing. Could someone give me a simple weekly schedule I can follow? Should I just train abs 3 times a week, too? or should I not do these programs at the same time? I'm lost. Thank you in advance for your advice!
torus_ot
I would put push-ups and squats on the same day opposite to running days. But see if your legs need more rest between exercises. If it feels to much - postpone the squats (or reduce the number of them).
