welshmark
Well here I am. 56 years old and 13 years ago had a heart attack and a quadruple bypass. I have just done day two of week 11. Yes I have moved on from C25K to 10k. Following the guide of C25K to the letter has been awesome, I really can't believe I completed it. I remember the first week and the struggle to do a whole MINUTE and to do that eight times was hard work. Today I ran 17 mins with 1 minute walk three times and ran a total distance of 4.6 miles. More to go but I'm still enjoying it. For anyone having doubts please just stick to it. Stick to the plan, enjoy all the hard work. It's worth it. Shawnk
Way to go!! I know what you are feeling as I never thought I would get to a point where I could run 17 minutes without stopping and now I am able to do it with this training program. You are an inspiration and keep up the great work!
Shepody
That's great Mark. I'm only 47 and have thankfully not had any serious health issues, but I am trying to get through this. Starting week 2 today.
