C25K vs Marathon Trainer

I am looking to get one of these apps for my iPhone.  I noticed once you are done with the 5k app and move on to the 10k app they have you start at week 9.  So instead of buying the 5k app I was just going to get the 10k app but thought why stop there.  Does the Marathon Trainer Pro app start from the beginning of the 5k?

AFAIK you can do it with c2k and c10k ("from couch potato to ..")

The half/whole marathon are different, not for beginners.You can actually look at all these training schedules (google it) online, most of them are slight variation of each other..

For example: http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_4/144.shtml is saying:

"Beginner Half Marathon Training Plan (12 week) - For runners who currently run 15 to 25 miles per week and expect to run the half marathon in about 2 hours"
