I'm 22, a brand new runner, and finding this app to be very helpful in taking it from being such a daunting task to something manageable. My goal is to run a 5k next summer and lose 80 lbs in a year. I want to be healthy and I've always envied runners. I need all the motivation and encouragement I can get, Y'all are amazing for what you do! Thank you! awk Posted July 22, 2016 Report Share Posted July 22, 2016 I was a brand new runner 7mths ago. I started doing Parkrun and became very motivated to do better. Not Sally OMally (SNL skit) but I can kick and even trot/run, just moving is fantastic for clear thinking & better attitude!
