Skipping days?

So I've been training the last few months after having my third baby, but just signed up here. and looking over the first few days/weeks of C25K I know I can already accomplish them given how I've already trained. Should I skip, or do them anyway to make later on easier? I've signed up for my first 4km charity run at the end of May and want to be as prepared as possible :)
