TruffleShuffle
Hi, I'm new, just finished wk1D2 and I'm loving it! My story is that I'm 35yrs old and 5 stone overweight. I have five children aged 8, 7, 4, 3 and 1. Four of my kids look exactly like their father and are slender as can be, and my 4yr old is the image of me and a little plump (so not totally like me, I'm way past plump!) Nothing major, but enough to make jeans in her age size a bit of a squeeze. So, I thought maybe we could start running together and she was SUPER keen and so we started this week. It's awesome! Before each run so far I have felt sick with nerves but then we step outside and get going and she's chatting away, we're having time with just the two of us, it's delicious! I'm genuinely sad at the end that it's over so fast! Anyway, my point was that she's my motivation to keep going, and once you find that motivation it starts being fun, she's my spoonful of sugar. Good luck everyone x

blayne
Great that you're getting your kid involved. I hope to do the same with mine. Trying to get my dad on the trail but not happening. Have fun! TruffleShuffle
