Conifer
Hey, I'm worried about starting week 4. I am really winded during the 3 minute runs in week 3. I can just barely do it. I have been working on my breathing, but I'm not there yet. Any tips to help keep my breathing in check so that I can run for a linger period of time or does this just take time and practice to do? Thanks! Conifer and KellyAnn
Guest TrishE
Hello conifer finding that perfect breathing technique is tough when youre starting out. I still have issues when im tired or its particularly hot out. I use my footfall for my rhythm. I inhale when my left foot strikes and exhale when it strikes again. If you find yourself cramping up try breathing with your core that may help you power through. Keep your music low for a while until you find a rhythm that works for you. A few more weeks and it'll be second nature hope this helps.
