Skip days?

It all depends on your schedule and what you feel comfortable doing. I would definitely recommend taking days in between. For example, running monday wednesday and friday and doing strength training or some other exercises on tuesdays and thursdays. If youd rather do the program three days in a row you can but you must take at least one day off each week to let your muscles recover. Running is an all over body work out and if youre just starting out your muscles will need a day or even two in some cases to rebuild themselves.

Hope this helps!

Thank you, TrishE. I was wondering about this, too. I started this app on the 21st. I didn't have enough energy to completely finish, so I went as long as I could, (20 min) and then quit. The next day my legs were so sore, but I went ahead and tried again. I only made it to about 17 min. So, I should take a break today and give my muscles a rest?

For sure! Youre body is telling you to take a break haha What youre doing with every workout is tearing down old muscle and rebuilding new stronger ones which is why youre sore. If you push your body to do more than its ready to you could end up pulling a muscle and injuring yourself.

Dont worry your runs will go better (or at least feel a little bit better) after a rest day because your body has had a chance to recover :) you will probably still be sore but it wont be as bad
