Guest TrishE
Hello Zara and welcome, you have a beautiful name Yes when youre first starting whether it be on a treadmill or running outside or on a track, always start with what your body is comfortable with. A good trick while running is, if you can have a conversation with someone or sing a loud to your music without getting winded you are at a good starting pace. You can always work on increasing it later on. As for the transition to walking I see no problems changing the speed instantly unless it bothers you. You only get so long to walk and recover so whether its gradual or instantaneous is up to you. I wish you the best of luck! I hope you keep us posted on your progress
