Fitblr and C25K!

Hi!  My name is Smote and I'm finally starting to exercise again.... after 8 years of basically being a couch potato.  TT___TT.   I'm 25, 5'0", queer as hell, and currently I weigh in at 130 lbs.  Which is a lot for a tiny human such as myself.

I was really active when I was younger and in college I've just been so busy.  I'm fortunate I think, that I really hate fast food and most packaged/processed things but I also really love FOOD (sushi, shumai, homemade pasta, fresh homemade bread, smoked salmon, etc etc) so I tend to eat a lot regardless and my metabolism hasn't kept pace.  I started using the MyFitnessPal app as well which is cool because it syncs with the C25K app and calculates in your exercise as well!

My goal is to be down to 120 or less by March and down to 100 or less by May!  90 is my end goal but I'm not too concerned about that since I'm hoping to build some muscle which weighs a heck of a lot more than fat does.  So being in the 100-115 range with muscle is cool too.

My biggest issue right now is food!  I'm looking for good recipes, things that are hearty for a student who has to be up at 6 am and doesn't return home until 9 pm without a break. (No seriously, I have a 7:45 am class that runs right into another class that goes until 2.  I work from 2:15 to 9:00pm.)  I need foods that travel well and that can be prepared quickly and easily in advance but don't take forever to prepare.  I'm not entirely sure foods like this exist that aren't sandwiches...?  So help would be REALLY appreciated in this area!

If anyone wants to - I'll be posting my progress, food diary, recipes I use, and photos over at my tumblr:  smotefitblr.tumblr.com

Thanks for taking the time to read this!  I can't wait to get rid of some of this extra weight!
