  1. Apparently, I am a very slow runner! I fullfilled my jogging times on week 5 day 2 but was not able to cover the distance. I am going to give it another try. I am not doing the program to truly train for a 5k, I am doing it to just get my body moving.

  4. Just finished day one of week five. I was assuming it was going to be a repeat of day one and I was feeling like this was going to be an easy week until I looked at the rest of the week!!! Yikes! I am trying to look at the positive but it is a bit intimidating. I don't want to get discouraged if I can't complete it the first time. Just curious if others have had the same experience?
  5. I completed week4 day 3 yesterday!!! I am so proud of myself! I am not and never ever was a runner. Well, to be honest, I am not running. It's like a leisurely jog at this point but hope to increase it with time. Not sure what will happen from here on out but I am feeling great and plan to take it day by day. The thought of running the entire time seems very unlikely but I am going to give it all I have. I am 43 and overweight so it is just time to get this under control! Good luck to everyone! I am so inspired by reading posts by others, motivates me to keep truckin'!
