    Being a busy Mum to my two kids, Pilates, watching sci-fi and fantasy shows like Arrow, Flash, Forever, Grimm and The Vampire Diaries, listening to rock, Goth and some pop music.
  1. It looks a bit extreme as surely going back to eating normally would then just put the weight back on and eating a special diet when I also need to feed my kids who are nearly 6 and 8 seems a lot of hard work. Then again most days just getting them to eat is a battle in itself!
  2. I want to eat more healthily but the majority of recipes I see are made up from salad, green vegetables, cheese, fish and therefore pretty much everything I don't like eating. I will eat potatoes until they come out of my ears but only like onions, mushrooms, leeks, peppers, carrots and peas if they are cooked and mixed with other food. I do try to eat a fairly healthy diet but I know I never get my 5 a day due to not liking enough to hit that target. I am a size 10 but have a plump middle I would like to reduce! Clare
  3. Hi there I hit my big 40 on Wednesday and want to tone up as 2 Pilates classes a week are sorting the muscles out but not the cuddly bits on top! I have joined the gym and being a newbie wanted a workout to use on the treadmill as I was clueless how to use it, so searched Google Play and found the c25k free app. I am into the second week with it and am really enjoying the workout. I am a size 10 so don't need to lose loads of weight, but I have always got very breathless if I try to run any distance which then makes me feel really light headed. I am prone to fainting so that is not a good way to be. I never thought I would be able to run, but the pacing off the app enables me to run and not get the usual symptoms. I don't know if I will progress to running outside but who knows by the end of the 8 week block Clare
  4. Hi there I have just joined the gym and found the app on Google play as I wanted a treadmill workout. I tried it for the first time today and really enjoyed it as it was much better having a settling workout. I may upgrade to the full version but will try the free one for a bit longer first :-)
