  1. Hi all Just got moving after a very sedentary year with a goal to complete a sprint triathlon later this year and if training well hopefully longer events. I've started training every day alternating cycling (20 - 30km) & running (C25K). No pain yet. Is this too much, should i ease off? Don't want to overdo it and get hurt. Thanks Steve
  2. I've had a varied history with sport, some years i was Mr Fitness, skiing in winter, cycling, running... other years i was Mr Lazy doing nothing except maybe a few long walks or leisure bike rides. The last year i gained around 10k or 22lbs with a really busy new job and no sport at all and this year have decided to focus more on myself. Next year I turn 40 and comitted to tick one off the bucket list and do a triathlon. For this reason i'm avoiding my usual diving into sport again at full speed and injuring myself yet again but chose a slower hopefully better approach to lose weight, build stamina and work up to full marathon running distance within a year. Hoping for some support from like-minded people Thanks & happy running !
