I'm 41 & have never ran (aka I've never had a bear chase me).
Something happens to a woman's body at 40. You get super squishy (yuk).
I need to loose a few pounds (a toddler actually) & running will make that happen for me.
I've been doing Advocare for the last 1.5 months and have lost 20 pounds already.
Today was Day 1 of running. I struggled!!
Here's what I learned.... I look like an injured animal running. I need new tennis shoes. I need something to strap down the girls. I need to find a Pandora channel & customize it for running (that slow stuff was not motivational). I need to wear a ponytail. I don't need to wear a jacket even on a cool day. I finished it (not perfectly but I kept moving the whole time). I need to take Aleve before I start (bad knees & hips - they aren't used to moving much)
That's my story - & I'm sticking to it !!!
