  1. I finished week 3 yesterday, and am excited/nervous about 5 whole minutes at a time in week 4! I managed 3 minutes every time this last week though, when I never would have believed it before

    Yay for you, iLizzle! It really does take courage to get out there and start, doesn't it? I just finished week 2, and it's still exhilarating and scary at the same time
  3. Thanks, TrishE! I've decided I need a goal, so I signed up for a 5K in the summer. My sister is already signed up for it (she's a great runner) so I hope to surprise her there, if I can keep this awesome secret to myself for that long
  4. Hello! I'm brand new to running, just did week 2 day 1 and boy my calves are tired. But I'm so excited to be doing this! I've been watching a woman about my age and weight, as she doggedly jogs by my house every day, and I've finally worked up the courage to try it too. Thank you, whoever you are, for showing me that it's achievable. Before this I'd spent my life telling my friends that if I'm running, there had better be an emergency somewhere! But now I really want to run for me, you know? I'm kind of exhilarated that I'm even trying!
