I've been stung with expensive shoes before. Will never invest in Salomon again. I wasn't even a runner when I bought them, but given they're a trail runner I figured they'd be fine for my rough terrain bush walking, plus comfy for walking the kids to school. Less than 6 months the soles are shredded/overly worn down, and the specialty laces broke. I've never had a pair of shoes quit so quickly.
I've been reading on a PT page I get emails from that running is a learner skill, and people need to be taught how to run to prevent injury. Has your PT assessed your running style? Or just managing the injuries? Have you considered an osteopath?
