  1. TrishE - I've heard of the ColorRun! They had one last year here in Austin, sometime during the summer I believe. It seems there are more "fun" runs than ever before, so I will have some choices to make after the Diva Dash. Maybe the Wicked WIne Run on May 30th where the run takes place at the vineyards and trails of Spicwood Vineyards, and there's wine waiting at the finish line. Yup, keeping Austin weird.

  3. Hi Shannon! Glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks life starts after 50, lol! Best of luck on your journey to running again. You've been there before, know what it's like and it sounds like you are in a really good place to start again!
  4. Hi Azatol, thanks for the advise. I did follow the app's prompts, and had a nice stretching session afterwards. I was surprised at how quickly the time flew by, but overall it was enjoyable, especially with the sun shining down on me at 72 degrees.
  5. Hi TrishE, the Diva Dash is actually an obstacle adventure run, and not the muddy, barbed wire kind either. Some of the runners costume up in tutus and sparkles. It's in select cities; here's the link: http://divadash.com/. It just looks like so much fun, so I wanted to start with it.
  6. I've been wanting to do the Diva Dash for the last several years but never actually "prepared" myself, and wasn't sure how to. This year I decided I'm going to do this, no more excuses. I am so grateful to have found this app to help me train for my very first 5K. I actually just completed my first workout today! Whoa! Easier than I thought it would be.
