  1. First congratulations on getting started! As far as the pain have you tried stretching? Your muscles tend to get tighter when you start to run, stretching is a very important part of getting fit and healthy. Alsi you can try foam rolling the are and even take a hot bath with some epsom salt, it definitely helps w the sore muscles. Hope this helps
  2. Great job you two! Sometimes we let our minds tell us something is to hard to accomplish but once you get started you'll ask yourself why you waited oo long! Keep at it and stay strong
