If you are on a treadmill 6mph is about what this app assumes you run at, I am fairly overweight and I can run at this pace but if it is not possible don't feel bad, you are doing well just by running. Just work on endurance and adjust your speed later. The only caveat is that you won't be running the full distance

Hello, I started using the 5k trainer back in late 2014 and made it to about week 4 and then went on hiatus when I moved and never got back into it, I started again yesterday and it is now kicking my butt just doing day one lol I hope that this time I may complete it and this time I am going for the 10k.
