  1. Thanks All. I will keep up the cardio if that's all I can do. Running was never my go to sport more like my never sport. So I'm new to a lot of the ins and outs of it. Thanks for all the help!
  2. I have a gym membership but I trip on treadmills and use an elliptical regularly. But the real world running vs the elliptical is totally different muscles that I'm afraid of losing the stamina of running. I can run on an elliptical for 25 mins but not run for a full 2 mins in real world. I was wonder what northern runners do in the winter?
  3. Hi all! I never liked running as a kid so always stayed away from it. Until now that I've seen a friend loss weight and become healthier I decided to try this program. I've dieted before and lost 50lbs then had my second child and gained every lb back plus more. I've lost 15lbs and have kept it off. So now I'm trying to run. I'm on week 3 and enjoying it but wondering about running in winter? I'm in western Massachusetts and live in very hilly terrain. I now drive to local parks to run on flat land and know that the parks don't normally plow their paths. Any ideas? Not wanting to run in snow but will not give up. Local school does not have a track and I live on a narrow, dirt road with lots of steep hills.
