Hi all! I turned 30 this year and have been doing 5Ks since I started my running journey. I was able to lose 60lbs in my first 3 months of running. I feel like I have "mastered" the 5k. I say "mastered" because I know I will never be a fast runner, but I pride myself on being consistent and not stopping. My fastest time is 11:30 mile and I'm cool with that. My next goal is to complete my first 10k in November. I'm looking forward to it but nervous about steping it up! I'm excited about the encouragement and inspiration I will find in this forum!
