Pdthunder
Hey there! My friends call me Thunder, and I am 21, female, and fairly active (but not a runner). I have to run errands for my dad all the time, which frequently involves lifting/moving things, and doing a lot of walking in between. I haven't started the c25k but I feel like I could manage the first week pretty well - maybe even the second week without too much pain and strife, but we will see. I ultimately want to build endurance. I am not so much interested in running in races, but I definitely want to be strong and fit. I have always been relatively out of shape and at toward the max end of my recommended Body Mass Index. I want to feel good about myself and I think running is where I will find that. My ultimate goal is to be able to run 10 miles in one go with relative ease. I am not sure how long that will take but I would like to imagine with constant practice and always pushing myself I can get there in one year. Here's to getting stronger, faster and and healthier!
