Long story so I’ll try to keep it brief. A few years ago I weight 385 lbs. I woke up once day and decided it was time for a change. I lost 180 lbs and reached 205lbs in just over a year. Life was good, I was jogging 10 miles easily.

I decided to try weightlifting and I blew out my back. All of my lumbar discs had blushes and my L5/S1 was an extrusion. Through the MRI I learned I had Lumbar Spinal stenosis(narrowing of the canal). I let it beat me. Over two years o gained a large portion of my weight back. I’ve been hating living in my own skin, so it’s time to change. I’ve been dieting and since I’ve been walking and strengthening my back, I’ve decided to start jogging again. It feels wonderful even if it’s only for a few minutes at a time.

Anyways, my goal for the rest of 2018 is to keep it up and hopefully beginning running 5 and 10k’s again. Cheers guys! I’m new here, so I apologize if I rambled on too long. Good luck in all of your goals as well!
