JoAnn
I have allow my health to get out hand by gaining up to over 300 lbs. It September of 2015 I started working out some and watching what I ate. But by December I knew I needed to step up my game, so I started making plans for 2016. I sat down with my family to cover my plans and ask for their support. Here is the high lights of my 2016 goal: 2016 was going to be my year. I was going to spend time on myself So I started going to the gym 6 day a week eating healthy. Drinking nothing but water and a cup of coffee or unsweetened tea maybe once every two weeks. I was going to put me first that week. And I did just that and my husband has been very supportive. Our kids are grown and married and I felt it was my time now. So in 2016 is stayed with my exercise program and even added more to it, I ran my 1st 5k I did kick boxing classes zumba classes and boot camps. Man was it a challenge but I made it and it has helped how I feel about myself so much. I lost 80lbs 2016 and stayed to the exercise plan this us the first time in my life that I had set out to do something like risk and really doing it. Now 2017 I want to continue my journey if fitness and lose 50 more lbs and to Ct10k I tell myself daily l got this....you can it. And I'm going to do it.
