JohnD
Hello, I just finished week 1 day 1 and it was great. A little harder than I thought it would be. I am 48 and survived a major heart attack in September. Been doing cardiac rehab for 10 weeks now and about finished with that program. I have gotten the go ahead from my cardiologist and rehab team to train for a 5K. Have always been pretty active, but haven't actually run in years. I am hoping to finish the C25K program on 3/23/17 and run my first 5K on 3/25/17. Will see how everything goes. Shepody
Shepody
It's scary how many guys here have had heart attacks in their 40's. I'm 47 and have high cholesterol, so I'm hoping with a better diet, being more active and a bit of help from statins I can avoid that fate. Guest aaron24j
Sorry to hear about your heart attack! You should be proud of your accomplishment getting back up on your feet and running and working on your first 5K! If you have any questions ask!
