Options for "cross train day"

On the half marathon app, you are required to do a form of non-running/walking training a few times a week.

 

Do you think a weights class (body pump) is OK? (Nothing too heavy, just enough to keep me strong) it's not technically cardio.

 

I generally find that as I get fitter, my muscles aren't strong enough to keep up, so I need to do something else as well!

I would think resistance training classes would be perfect for the cross training days. I fully intend to use the cross training days to do my weighted workouts.
