Elizabeth1188
Hi I use to be a runner and then about 5 years ago I got sick and stayed that way...for 5 years. Finally, last May I was diagnosed with Lupus. While I'm grateful to know why I've been sick and for my doctors and the mess I'm on, I want my life back. I'd love to know if anyone else out there is trying to get started running with an auto-immune disease. Is it even possible? Thank you! McKenna Scole
Ulcerative Colitis here and I'll be taking immunosuppressant for 5 years come December. This is my second week on 10K app. When I quit running, it was 11 km per session on treadmill.
yasminpurple
Go for it! I'm on week 2 training for a 5k with rheumatoid arthritis. I feel better with exercise, though still exhausted. Im now on Embrel and trying to wean off of prednisone. How's it going for you?
