NomadRN
Just finished week 1 of C25K. I had tried this program 2 summers ago and didn't even make it through the first day ( I made a mistake and was trying to train my dog to walk on a leash at the same time, bad idea...). I made if through my first 3 jog/walks fairly well but gosh am I slow. I've never been a runner, more of a hiker, and I am carrying quite a bit of extra me around, so I was pleased to run for 1 minute straight (very slowly but still). I hope this continues to feel good but I'm excited for the challenge and know it will get much tougher.
Cherylseptember
Slow doesn't matter! You have done one of the hardest parts by making it through week 1. Keep up the good work!
z artful dodger
Keep going. I just started four weeks ago and just completed week 4 day 3 today. I really couldnt run much. But now I can prolly keep running for fie mins after the workout finishes if i want to (ive tried it a couple of times, but only in week 3 onwards not in the initial weeks).
