Murrwillrun
So I shook on doing a 5k next May, and instantly regretted it. I don't run on purpose. Ever. Well, now I do. I need to begin my running career. Maybe I'll love it, maybe not, but I shook on it, so here goes. Wish me luck
Ladybuggy
I remember yrs ago I ran in a Jingle Bell Run. I was so inspired by everyone there that I was able to finish just fine. Lots of people walked and ran which is fine too. Have fun with it. I still remember how good it felt to do this. Now I'm trying to get back to some level of fitness at 62. Good luck! Murrwillrun
Thank you so much! I'm trying to think of it as my first try, and not trying to be perfect so I do not get discouraged. I am proud of you for getting back at it. No matter the age, coming back to fitness is a great choice, but can be difficult. Good luck!
