Welcome :) my advice is usually always the same.

1. Be patient with your body (it'll take a bit to get used to the stress youre putting on it. You have to work through the pains as long as they dont impede normal activities.)

2. If you can, invest in a good pair of running shoes. Theyre totally worth it.

3. Diet is very important. Dont eat less eat healthier. Youre body is going to need good healthy fuel to push itself through its runs.
