Chunky Bootcamper looking to be a runner

Hello,

Last year I was just hovering below 280lbs with 300 being my highest weight. Right now I am at 215. I have been physically active before doing bootcamp 1-3 times a week, however i havent gone back because i injured my knee and have been on a keto diet. I really want to run, not because i simply want to lose weight, but I love it when I jog around town. My knee is feeling better though I cant do squats without feeling pain. Would starting this c25k be too much for me?

Welcome :)

Should be ok but always check with your doctor if youre not sure. They know best. If you can't check with a doc then my advice would be start slow and see how you feel a couple weeks in. If your knee is hurting and you feel you can't keep going stop and rest it for awhile.
