motivationplusdedication47
I have graduated from the C25k program. I'm able to jog 30 minutes without being overly exerted, but I'm super slow. I'm not even hitting the two mile mark in 30 minutes. Usually about 1.7-1.8 miles. I want to try my first 5k in about 30 days. I'm not sure if I'll be able to increase my speed enough by that time though. Any suggestions/advice? Guest TrishE
Dont rush it! Theres no need to break the 30 min mark as fast as possible. Your first race should be fun and something that makes you proud running non stop for 30 minutes is a big deal no matter how slow you think youre going. Dont worry I promise your speed will come. Running like all difficult things takes time and practice. Just keep at it!
