Half done, lifetime to go

Hi! 35yo male here. Just got through w5d1 an hour ago. The last few weeks have been rather easy, or should I say doable to not sound overconfident.

I'm not sure what to make of it. My guesses are 1) I'm going too slow, 2) I just wasn't accustomed to running so after week 1 (which I did twice due to getting a new phone) I found my rhythm, or 3) my addict nature that made me stick to this once I started.

So, my main question is what would be the average distance you people are running around weeks 4-5. I just got 5.2k which translates to a bit over 3 miles. This was the second time I got past the 5k mark, first one being the previous day, so my score is definitely going up all the time.

I gotta admit I cheat a bit though. I usually jog either the start or the end 5 minutes and sometimes even between the runs where I'm supposed to walk.

I think it was after my w4d1 run when I though I'ma jog for a bit more, ending up jogging for 10k straight which took me around an hour and a quarter.

Definitely seems like I'm an endurance runner, or should I say a walker as my jogging speed nearly equals brisk walking.

Today I checked my phone after each 5min run and noticed I regularly scored 1k in that time, and that was really pushing it.

Usually my jogging speed is 7.5 minutes per 1k while my walking speed is roughly 10 minutes.

While I know I could prolly repeat that one marathon day where I jogged for 15k total in a bit less than 2 hours (which I found pretty awesome) I would really like to increase my speed.

My goal eventually is to run 3k Cooper test, which means 2 miles in 12 minutes, which I know is excellent for a guy in his 20's. Most likely I will never get there but right now the idea of running that fast sounds out of this world for me.

Any tips on how to get the speed and some comparison figures for w4-5 distances would be nice. Thanks everyone.
