I fell last year and banged up my legs bad...ended up with a sprained ankle and partial tear in the knee on the other leg. Guest TrishE Posted August 7, 2015 Report Share Posted August 7, 2015 Welcome! So glad you decided to start As a fellow knee problem person my best advice is to take it slow and listen to your body. Make sure you aren't pushing it too much. Yes it'll take longer but being sidelined with another injury is much worse. Also invest in a great pair of shoes and a good brace if you can. Thats helped a lot. Be sure to stretch before and after and rest up in between runs until your knees are stronger and used to the work outs.
