Hi, I am 54 years young. I had been in several 5Ks (walked the whole thing) and kept telling myself one day I want to run in one. Had my first experience running in a 5K in March after running on a treadmill all winter. Thought what's the big deal I can do this....LOL boy did I find out what the big deal and difference was from running on a treadmill to running outside. Now I am running outside to work on running in more 5Ks. I am not fast but I don't stop until my run is done. MY RACE MY PACE

I am new at this and need all the support I can get I am 46 years old and have been overweight for about 8 years. I have been off and on my whole life. I could lose but now I having problems. When I lost the last time I started running and enjoyed it. I have competed 3 5k and would like to get started again. So hopefully this can and also get me back in shape. So this could be a win win situation back to running and in better health.
