hawodi12
Thanks to the app,I'm able to run 5k. I ran my third 5k today and it's unbelievable! I plan to do the run 3 days in a row and alternate the 4th run. Any advise on how to sustain my runs will be helpful. shelyn and Charlielyne

hawodi12
Thanks TrishE. I'm losing weight gradually but not as fast as I would like to. I may have to look into my diet. Btw, any recommendation on site I could read more about foods? Thanks.
Guest TrishE
Diet is very important its over half the battle if you want to lose weight or just be more healthy. Unfortunately its also the hardest thing to change because unhealthy and processed foods are so much easier (taste better most of the time) and are less expensive. Changing your diet is all about self control. Theres a Food and Nutrition forum option on here that has a lot of posts about good choices and about what not to eat but even if you cant find anything helpful there just google healthy diet and youll get tons of info. If youre just starting to change your diet I recommend going in small steps rather than a huge change all at once. Its more of a lifestyle change than anything else and that takes time. Drink lots of water, cut out soda and all other sugary drinks if you can, eat more fruit and veggies and watch the sugar in your processed foods. I know a lot of people love the paleo life style and i think its a great goal to shoot. Im still working towards it haha its tough. Good luck Please if you have any questions dont hesitate to ask.
