Akayh1988
hello everyone! I'm Ashley. I'm 26 years old and have never been much of a runner. I decided to start doing the couch to 5k in correlation to the healthy lifestyle I am trying to implement. I have a really difficult time sticking to a healthy diet, especially where soda is concerned. But I am determined to get back on track and start living a healthier lifestyle! Guest TrishE
Welcome Ashley! Soda is tough tough tough to quit. Its an addiction for sure. My advice from personal experience is (i know easier said than done) to quit it cold turkey. Just remember there is nothing in soda that is good for you, its all fake. Try to get your mind thinking that its toxic. Its a little extreme but thats what helped me mentally. If you find yourself craving something sweet to drink try flavored waters. Pinterest has tons of ideas for this and its all natural and good for you. Changing your diet is really tough, its gotta be a lifestyle change and youre gunna slip, everyone does dont let it get you down. Theres always a new day to get right back on track. Remember dont eat less, eat healthier. Good luck! We are all here for help and encouragement if need be.
