Guest TrishE
welcome chrissy! running form and breathing technique are super hard to get perfect and take a lot of practice. There are some great posts under "Running Tips" on the main forum page. What helped me when I first started was matching my breathing to my footfalls. I inhale when my left foot strikes and exhale when it hits again. Try to use your core to expel your breath especially if youre battling a cramp. Take one or two runs where you keep your music low and just concentrate on the rhythm of your breath. Soon it will become second nature to you and youll be able to do it most times without thinking too much about it. Good luck I hope this helped!
