fanny
Hello. Is the first time in my life that I run and I'm 40 years old. I'm so grateful to my friend that introduced me to this wonderful program. tomorrow first God I will start week 7. It had been hard but very rewarding. I have a question. The running time I can do it but not the distance that says in the program. Is bcs I'm very slow? Should I train until I reach time with distance? Or I focus on the time only? TIA
Guest TrishE
Hello fanny Its normal for those doing the program not to finish the distance because you really should be concentrating on just building endurance. Once you feel comfortable running the whole thirty minutes then you can begin running the whole 5k. I know a lot of people do try to push themselves to run past the timed sections so they do hit the 3.1 mark. Whatever you feel comfortable with you should do. Good luck
fanny
Thank you so much for ur fast answer. It really motivated me to continue today! I though I was doing something wrong. Today I run W7D1 thank God. I did the 25 minutes but only 3 kilometers... I will not concentrate In the distance as u said until the end... I will continue to focus on the time. Thank you again.
