Mel76
Hello! I'm brand new to running, just did week 2 day 1 and boy my calves are tired. But I'm so excited to be doing this! I've been watching a woman about my age and weight, as she doggedly jogs by my house every day, and I've finally worked up the courage to try it too. Thank you, whoever you are, for showing me that it's achievable. Before this I'd spent my life telling my friends that if I'm running, there had better be an emergency somewhere! But now I really want to run for me, you know? I'm kind of exhilarated that I'm even trying!
Guest TrishE
Welcome Mel! So happy youve decided to give this a shot. It truly will be one of the best decisions you could make for yourself. Just think someone else will see you running and be inspired to start up as well! Its such a great cycle that way Good luck and I hope you keep us posted on your progress! Mel76
Thanks, TrishE! I've decided I need a goal, so I signed up for a 5K in the summer. My sister is already signed up for it (she's a great runner) so I hope to surprise her there, if I can keep this awesome secret to myself for that long
