Sorry to hear about your side pain :( thats the worst! Glad youre back on the horse though.

Cold weather is tough, remember when your layering that your body will be heating up quickly. So even though its cold dont over do it on the layers because you dont want to over heat. Also make sure you re-hydrate too. You wont be sweating as much but your body is still losing water.
