TommyTom
This is how i was able to overcome knee pain. First, a little background. A few years ago i was trying to get back into running, and as usual i thought i was indestructible, not listening to my body. I was able to go about 2 miles and then it happened. My knees started hurting so bad i had to quit running. I was so discouraged, that i stopped altogether. Now this time im taking it slow and im doing this a little smarter. First,i was overweight by 60 pounds,so i started eating smarter and banned soda! Then to get my legs and body ready,i started riding a bike. Nothing crazy at first, just a half hour or so, whatever felt comfortable. then i started walking. For one month straight,i walked every day. And rode my bike almost every day as well. Gradually increasing distance and time. Now im riding my bike 10 miles a day and walking 2 to 3 miles every other day. Now 4 months later, i have about 20 pounds to go for my weight and i started day one last week with no knee pain at all. So take it from me,listen to your body and take your time. It will come. I got sick and had to stop everything. Now i have to redo day one again, but its ok. I just have to get back outside!
