  1. I'm a 29 year old mother of two, and when I started running, a smoker. I started running when I realized I needed something to stop cravings, I'm a former drug addict (7 months sober). So since I had not run in 11 years, it was hard to do, but I pushed through it. Where I live , in Missouri, It's very hilly and I find that to be a good thing. Anyway, I quit smoking cigarettes in May 7 and running has become much easier. I've cut a full minute off my mile and all cravings have stopped. I can't wait to run my first 5k. If I can do this, anyone can.
