  1. While I'm not new to running I am only 4 weeks in after a 4 year hiatus. The week 4 runs are feeling like a big step and the 5 min runs are tough. Tomorrow will be day 3 and I will probably repeat for another week before going to week 5. My concern is I signed up for a 5k at the beginning of August. If a 5 min run feels draining for me now, at the end of June will I be ready for this race in August? Im almost feeling like I should back out and slow down. Or should I keep pushing forward because I'm not in any pain nor do I feel soreness anywhere. Though I do feel very tired during the days of my runs...I feel like I may have jumped the gun with a 5k so soon.
