  1. Hi, I just turned 48 and have never been very active other than walking and occasionally lifting weights. I've been thinking about doing the couch to 5K, but I have osteoporosis and didn't know if it was ok to still run. I've read articles saying both that it's fine and that it's dangerous. So I'm not sure what to think. Any thoughts? Also, since it's summer, how do you all do this when it's 90 plus degrees out? Treadmill?
  2. I have several friends who run and say this is a great way to build confidence and get into shape. I'm 48 and was diagnosed with osteoporosis when I was 35. Can I still do this program and eventually run? I keep reading different opinions.
