Hi, as the title suggests I am new to running. In fact I don't think I have ever run properly as, until I had a congenital heart deformity corrected aged 10 even mild exercise exhausted me. Then puberty kicked and let's just say sports bras were unheard of and it was just very uncomfortable.
So why start now? Well my waistline is expanding and walking at toddler pace is just not cutting it. Obviously, lockdown rules out the gym and swimming and I don't own a bike so running seems to be the only real option available.
So, I've bought some trainers (first pair in 10 years!) and sports bra and I will start the programme tomorrow.
Any tips for a complete newbie would be gratefully received!
