Hi there, I had the same problem - I couldn't hear the voice prompts on locked screen. This is how I fixed it on Iphone 6. Go to settings - scroll all the way down to the C25K App - tap on it - tap on the notifications then turn on notifications - make sure sounds is turned on & show in lock screen is turned on.
